Edwin is a Partner and Africa Regional Director for Dalberg Advisors, the global strategy and policy advisory firm focused on shifting the needle on creating an inclusive and sustainable world. He founded Dalberg’s Nairobi office in 2008 and has been a key contributor in building Dalberg’s Africa presence to be the largest top-tier consulting firm on the continent. Edwin advises a wide range of clients including Governments, investors, corporations, bilateral and multilateral donors, global foundations, and non-governmental organizations on their most important issues around strategy, operational efficiency and program implementation. His work is increasingly focused on the intersection of new business models and atypical partnerships required to reach the underserved and unlock potential. Before joining Dalberg, Edwin was at the Clinton Foundation where he held multiple roles focused on rural communities. Prior to joining the Clinton Foundation, Edwin was at McKinsey & Company in NY where he served clients in the financial services and pharmaceutical sectors. Edwin holds a BA (cum laude) in Biology from Amherst College. He serves on The Nature Conservancy Africa Council, the Amref International University Council, Digital Green Board and the Acumen East Africa Fund Advisory Board. He is an Archbishop Desmond Tutu Fellow, a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader and has been named on several lists, including Top 10 Powerful Men in Africa by Forbes in 2015, and Top 40 under 40 Men in Kenya.
